EO Community Catalyst
Employee ownership is a big transition and can be quite complex. That’s why I-COM and Still We Grow created the Employee Ownership Community Catalyst: an event series built around honest knowledge sharing, real conversations, and the kind of support that only comes from speaking to people who “get it”.
Founded by Still We Grow and I-COM
Still We Grow supports employee-owned businesses through growth, ownership change and the period after. Drawing on experience in employee ownership, succession and management buyouts, Still We Grow helps leadership teams adapt as accountability and expectations shift. Still We Grow strengthens foundations, reduce risk and build sustainable value, using evidence-led diagnostics, capability building and proportionate advisory support.
I-COM is a Manchester-based digital marketing agency, established in 2005. With a team of around 30 employee-owners, I-COM became one of the first employee owned agencies in Manchester in 2019 and has seen first-hand how much stronger a business can feel when people have a shared stake in where it’s going.
Why we’ve created these events
As members of the employee ownership community, we know how much of a difference it makes to feel connected. Other EO businesses have supported us, we’ve supported others, and that mutual exchange has shaped our own journeys in a way that’s hard to replicate.
The Employee Ownership Community Catalyst event series exists to give EO businesses and members of the EO community (and EO-curious teams!) a space to connect, learn from each other, and leave with ideas they can take back into their business. Each event includes a mix of panels, workshops, and networking time - designed to keep the atmosphere relaxed, useful, and genuinely community-led.
Our first event: November 2025
In November 2025, we hosted our inaugural Community Catalyst event - the first EO community event of its kind in the north west, run by the community, for the community.
We wanted to create something that helped people strengthen their EO networks, feel supported, and share what’s working (and what’s still a work in progress). The goal was simple: bring EO businesses together, make the space feel open and welcoming, and help attendees head home with ideas they could build on.

So, we really wanted to come and share our story and also meet other companies because we don't really know that many who have gone down the same path as us.
